DarLink AI Pricing:Every Number, Checked
Prices and features checked on 14 September 2026.
DarLink AI charges twice: once for the subscription, and again in tokens for every image and video you generate. This page lists both, with the real cost per unit, so you can work out what a month actually costs you before you pay.
Subscription plans
Three tiers, three billing cycles. Quarterly and yearly prices below are the effective monthly cost, billed up front for the full period.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Yearly | Saving on yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $12.99 | $10.99 | $9.99 | 23 % |
| Advanced | $27.99 | $21.99 | $18.99 | 32 % |
| Ultimate | $49.99 | $39.99 | $32.99 | 34 % |
The yearly saving is the one genuine discount on the platform. It is also the one the site understates on two plans and overstates on all three with its SAVE 44 % label: no plan reaches 44 %.
What each plan includes
| Feature | Essential | Advanced | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coins included each month | 100 | 300 | 500 |
| Messages per month | 6,000 | 9,000 | Unlimited |
| Memory | Basic | Enhanced | Living |
| Voices | 6 standard | 10 premium | 10 premium |
| Roleplay creation | Quick | Deep | Unlimited |
| Priority messaging | No | Yes | Yes |
| NSFW | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Support link on profile | No | Yes | Yes |
Note that NSFW is available on every tier, including the cheapest. The plans separate on memory, message volume and voice library, not on content access.
Token packs and what media really costs
Generated media is paid separately. An image costs 2 tokens. A video costs 20. Your monthly coin allowance covers the first few, then you buy packs.
| Pack | Price | Per token | Images | Videos | Advertised | Real saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 tokens | $9.99 | $0.0999 | 50 | 5 | — | baseline |
| 350 tokens | $34.99 | $0.0999 | 175 | 17 | Save 20 % | 0 % |
| 550 tokens | $49.99 | $0.0909 | 275 | 27 | Save 30 % | 9 % |
| 1,150 tokens | $99.99 | $0.0869 | 575 | 57 | Save 30 % | 13 % |
| 3,750 tokens | $299.99 | $0.0800 | 1,875 | 187 | Save 50 % | 20 % |
| 7,500 tokens | $599.99 | $0.0800 | 3,750 | 375 | Save 50 % | 20 % |
The 350-token pack is the one to avoid. It costs $0.0999 per token, exactly the same as the 100-token pack, while advertising a 20 % saving. The struck-through $43.74 used to produce that figure does not correspond to any price sold on the site.
If you want a genuine discount, the threshold is $299.99. Below that, the most you save is 13 %.
What a realistic month costs
Add the subscription to the media you expect to generate. Three worked examples, at yearly billing and the 100-token pack rate:
| Usage | Plan | Media | Extra tokens | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chat only, no media | Essential $9.99 | none | $0 | $9.99 |
| Chat plus ~100 images | Essential $9.99 | 200 tokens | ~$19.98 | ~$29.97 |
| Heavy chat, 20 videos | Ultimate $32.99 | 400 tokens | ~$39.96 | ~$72.95 |
The pattern is consistent: media, not the subscription, is what drives the bill. Anyone generating video regularly should expect the token spend to exceed the plan price.
The cost of a full year, all in
Monthly figures hide the commitment. Here is what each plan costs over twelve months on each billing cycle, paid as the platform bills it.
| Plan | 12 months monthly | 12 months quarterly | 12 months yearly | Saved by paying yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $155.88 | $131.88 | $119.88 | $36.00 |
| Advanced | $335.88 | $263.88 | $227.88 | $108.00 |
| Ultimate | $599.88 | $479.88 | $395.88 | $204.00 |
The Ultimate plan saves $204 over a year on annual billing. That is the largest single saving available anywhere on the platform, and it dwarfs anything the token pack badges advertise.
The trade-off is obvious: you pay $395.88 up front and you are committed. If you are not certain you will still want this in six months, monthly billing costs $204 more over the year but leaves you free to stop.
How to spend the least
Four rules, in order of how much they save you.
- Pay yearly if you are staying. Between 23 % and 34 % off, and it is the only discount on the site that survives a calculator.
- Never buy the 350-token pack. It costs the same per token as the 100-token pack. Buy the small one repeatedly instead, or jump to a genuinely discounted tier.
- Treat video as occasional. At 20 tokens a clip, roughly $2.00, twenty videos cost more than a month of the top plan.
- Start on Essential. Adult content is identical on all three tiers. Upgrade only when you know whether it is memory or message volume that you actually need.
The cheapest realistic configuration is Essential on yearly billing at $9.99 a month, using the included 100 coins and buying no extra tokens. That is $119.88 for the year, with 50 images a month included.
Payment, renewal and refunds
Card payment works on every billing cycle. Crypto is accepted on annual plans only, and crypto payments do not auto-renew: access simply ends when the paid year finishes, so diarise it.
Upgrades and downgrades are possible at any time. If you cancel, access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. The platform publishes a separate refund policy, which is worth reading before a large token purchase, since packs and subscriptions are treated differently.
One practical warning: the sidebar link named Subscription returns a 404. The working plan page is at /plan-selection. If you land on an error page, that is why.
The three rendering styles
The character builder ships three looks and the feed mixes all three. These are characters published on the official catalogue, one card per style, so you can judge the image quality before you pay.

Pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
No. DarLink AI does not advertise a free trial or a free tier. You can browse public characters and read their scenarios without an account, but chatting and generating media require a paid plan.
Which plan is the best value?
Essential on yearly billing, at $9.99 a month, if you mostly chat. Ultimate on yearly billing, at $32.99 a month, if you want unlimited messages and Living Memory. The middle tier is harder to justify: it costs nearly double Essential for 200 extra coins and a memory upgrade.
Do unused coins roll over?
The platform describes the allowance as a monthly grant of free coins and does not advertise rollover. Treat each month's allowance as use-it-or-lose-it unless support confirms otherwise.
Why does the per-day price never change?
It appears to be a display fault. The large per-day figure stays at $0.43, $0.93 and $1.67 across all three billing cycles, while the monthly price below it updates correctly. On yearly Essential, $9.99 a month is $0.33 a day, not $0.43.
Is the countdown timer real?
No. The Offer ends in banner resets on each visit. Treat the prices as the standing rates, not as a limited promotion.
Currency and regional pricing
All prices are displayed and charged in US dollars. We saw no regional pricing and no currency switcher, which means buyers outside the dollar zone pay a conversion rate set by their card issuer, plus any foreign transaction fee their bank applies.
For an annual plan that matters: $395.88 charged in one transaction on a card with a 2 % foreign transaction fee costs an extra $7.92 that appears nowhere on the pricing page. Use a card without foreign transaction fees if you have one, particularly for the yearly plans where the whole amount is taken at once.
How these prices were collected
Each of the three billing tabs on the official plan page was opened in turn and read separately, because only the selected tab's prices are visible at any moment. That is why most reviews publish the monthly column alone. The token figures came from the separate token purchase page.
The cost-per-token and real-saving columns on this page are our own arithmetic, not quotes from the site: pack price divided by token count, then measured against the base pack. That is precisely why those columns contradict the platform's own badges.
All figures were checked on 14 September 2026 and are in US dollars. Prices in this category change without notice: verify on the official site before paying, and tell us if you find a difference so we can update this page with the date.
One number to remember
If the rest of this page blurs together, keep this: the subscription is not what determines your bill. Media is. A single video costs about $2.00, which is a fifth of the cheapest monthly plan, and there is no ceiling on how many you can buy.
Set yourself a monthly token budget before you start, the way you would for any metered service, and check the balance rather than the calendar. Everyone who has been surprised by a bill on a platform like this was surprised by media, never by the subscription.
